One small wired appliance joins the home network. Parents decide which devices are protected, what newly discovered devices should do, and which websites and services can pass. Everything else can remain unchanged.

Keep the network
It works with the router and Wi-Fi a family already owns.
Egress Total Control does not create a second wireless network and does not depend on a VPN profile. The family keeps the coverage, speed, mesh access points, and antennas they already paid for.
Choose the default
Set newly discovered devices to start protected or unrestricted. Parents can change a device’s treatment without rebuilding the home network.
Handle requests clearly
Blocked and pending web destinations lead to a request page instead of a mysterious connection failure, with destination review kept outside the packet path.
Three-part setup
Power. Ethernet. Choose who is protected.
Connect the appliance
Plug it into power and one Ethernet port on the existing router or network switch. There are no antennas to position and no replacement Wi-Fi credentials to distribute.
Move DHCP control
Turn off DHCP on the existing router. The appliance will not declare the network secured until it has verified that no competing DHCP server is issuing addresses.
Assign device policy
Select the devices to protect and choose whether future unknown devices begin protected or open. The setting remains explicit and changeable.
Security that tells the truth
A green light has to mean something.
No premature claim. The appliance never reports the network as secured while another DHCP server is still active.
Continuous monitoring. If another DHCP server appears later and begins distributing addresses, the appliance changes its status and alerts the parent.
No VPN fallback. Protection does not quietly shift to a VPN product with a different setup, performance profile, or privacy model.
Defined scope. Enforcement is for devices placed under appliance control. The product does not claim that unmanaged devices choosing their own network settings are protected.
